What is the best ammunition?
The best ammunition is the ammunition that shoots well in your particular gun. There are no “hard and fast rules” here. There are too many variables such as the rifling (twist rate in the barrel) and barrel length to give a definite answer. What is recommended is to try various types of ammunition and when one type is found to shoot well in your particular rifle, then buy as much as you can of that particular batch. It is surprising how well some of the less expensive ammunition shoots, however expect to pay between $8-$10 for good ammunition and up to $20 per packet for premium grade ammunition.
