What is the best all round lens for a Canon EOS Kiss Digital X camera?
The best “all-around” lens is Canon 18-200mm IS lens. It covers a wide range, going from decent wide angle to relatively long telephoto. It comes with about $550 price tag though. Just to avoid any illusions, however, the lens in question is what’s called “jack of all trades, master of none”. Or in other words, while it does literally replace a bag full of lenses you can carry around with you, it has some shortcomings at nearly all focal lengths, because making this big 11x piece of glass takes some compromises.
