What is the benefit of using a single point sling?
There are different types of slings: three-point, two-point, and single point slings. Three-point slings typically attach near the forward end of the weapon and at the buttstock end of the weapon and wrap around the user’s upper body. Single point slings also wrap around the chest of its user but attach at a single point on the weapon. By design, single point slings are much more maneuverable and offer many more tactical advantages than multiple-point models. This is one reason why single point slings are gaining popularity in the high-speed, close-quarter tactical communities.
