What is the benefit of my unit’s participation in online giving?
When your unit participates in Give to Cal, your donors are able to make gifts from a highly visible level on the UC Berkeley home page. By clicking on Give to Cal, donors access the University’s giving gateway, including a secure, online gift form. Give to Cal is the campuswide site for donors to make tax-deductible contributions to UC Berkeley. All participating units and their selected funding priorities will be listed and available for giving from this inclusive gateway. Also, you can link directly to your unit’s giving form from your own home page (or giving site). A graphic icon for online giving has been developed by University Relations and is available to your unit to help you promote online giving from your Web site. University Relations will market the gateway as givetocal.berkeley.edu to build recognition of the site and encourage people to make gifts online.
