What is the benefit of having Disc brakes in 125cc bike?
Depends how and where are you driving.If your driving is in city only, it hardly makes a difference whether you have a disc or drum brake as the speeds are not more than 40 kmph.Disc brake is very useful at high speeds.Sensing from your preconceived notion that the disc brake is GOING TO GET DAMAGED you better go for drum brake. If you are after saving money only, why not go for a basic bike, which will be much cheaper to start with where the starter is not included at all in the price. You normally do not change the bike for minimum 5 years and you will feel guilty at that time that you should have bought the bike with disc and the self starter instead of opting for cost cutting in the basic price when all these optios were available and which are any day better in performance in braking and starting…
