What is the benefit of Converting an auction to MarketplaceAdvisor?
Converting a listing to a MarketplaceAdvisor listing brings the listing information into your item detail history and gives you access to post-sales features, such as automatic notifications, Traction and Checkout. MarketplaceAdvisor fees apply if the listing ends successfully. Note that you must use the “Convert to MarketplaceAdvisor Auctions” command on listing selected, and that upon conversion the following occurs: • A search will be made, and if an item with the same name exists in Inventory, the closed or running listing will be “attached” to the item. • If the item does not exist, a new item will be created (make sure you go into the Inventory item record and input fields such as shipping, so that the appropriate amount is charged during checkout). • You will be charged for any converted successful listing (since at this point the MarketplaceAdvisor Management system is activated). • The item will be made Bold on the Monitor page, and when it have been successfully finalized, th
