Most of us experience getting our first driver’s license when we are teenagers. After driving your whole life, you may wonder why a senior would need to take a senior’s defensive driving class. Even though a senior has years of experience under their belt and obviously hasn’t had any fatal accidents, things have changed a lot since they first began to drive. There are newer and bigger vehicles and roads. Traffic in some areas is difficult at best. Then there’s road rage, something that didn’t exist until several years ago. A senior’s defensive driving class will help an older driver learn to deal with difficult situations that they must face every day on the road.
