What is the behavior plan for Ms. Tanguis class?
To encourage students to follow the classroom rules, I will reinforce appropriate behavior with stickers, stamps, special treats and special privileges. Inside the Daily Pocket folder, there will be a Monthly Behavior Calendar. A green dot indicates excellent behavior for that day. If a student chooses to break a rule the following consequences will result: 1st time: A verbal reminder of the rule and discussion of alternative behavior will take place. 2nd time: Student changes stick to yellow. A yellow dot will be placed on the behavior calendar. 3rd time: Reflection time will be given. Student changes stick to blue. A blue dot will be placed on the behavior calendar. 4th time: Extended reflection time will be given and communication with parents will take place. Student changes stick to red. A red dot will be placed on the behavior calendar. Severe disruption- Student will be sent to the office and the parent will be called.
