What is the battery on laptop sound board??

0

I’m not sure where the sound board is located in Toshiba computers, but the battery you are seeing might be the CMOS battery that most computers have. This battery doesn’t have anything to do with sound coming out the computer–it is used to provide just enough power so that the computer does not “forget” the date and time. One possible explanation for what happened to your computer is that the motherboard may have been damaged when the new soundboard was replaced, but this seems a bit unlikely if the only problem you are having is related to the battery not holding a charge….are you sure the battery is still good? Laptop batteries don’t last forever, so that might be the problem. Either way, you probably will want to take your computer in to get it looked at before you spend any money trying to fix it. Hope this helps…..
