What is the basis of your curriculum development for educación española?
Instruction for educación española is based on a comparative/contrastive analysis of Spanish vis-à-vis the English language. We incorporate the National Standards for Foreign Language Learning within the context of a culturally rich environment. This approach to teaching language allows us to teach Spanish while also reviewing key language concepts of English. We incorporate an extensive authentic cultural strand throughout our curriculum focusing on history, cultural, and contemporary life.
