What is the basic sructural component of DNA?

0

Deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) is the physical carrier of inheritance for 99% of living organisms. It is considered as blueprint of life that has the instructions for making an organism or functions as information storage. It is composed of Deoxyribose Sugar, phosphate and nitrogenous bases. The nitrogenous bases in DNA are C, G, A and T which pair in a specific way called the “Base – Pair Rule”. Adenine only pairs to Thymine and Guainine only pairs to Cytosine. In between the paired nitrogenous bases is a Hydrogen bond. The shape of a DNA strand is double helix similar to a ladder. The rungs of the ladder can occur in any order as long as the base-pair rule is followed. So the answer to your question is option A.
