The Barclays Premier League often just called The Premier League is a professional soccer league in England. The players who play for the 20 teams of the league are some of the world’s best soccer players. It was founded in 1992 and was originally called the FA Premier League. The teams that are part of the Premier League are the twenty best teams in England. Though the matches take place in England and it is a British league, the players are from all around the world. The Structure of the League The Premier League is a corporation. It is jointly owned by 20 clubs who are each shareholders in the company.
