As you might know, Bank of America owns Countrywide. Back in early Decenber of 2008, Bank of America proudly announced the birth of a new loan modification. This new modification is going to lower the monthly mortgage payments for qualified applicants by the equivalent of 34% of the borrowers gross income on a monthly basis.
