What is the background of Snam Rete Gas?
Snam Rete Gas S.p.A. was set up on 15 November 2000. On 1 July 2001 the company became operational and received the natural gas transport and dispatching and the liquefied natural gas regasification lines of business from Snam S.p.A. (now Eni S.p.A.). Snam Rete Gas shares have been listed on the Italian stock market since 6 December 2001 and on March 18th, 2002, the company’s share was listed on the S&P/MIB index.
