What is the background, experience and education of Peace Corps Volunteers?
Volunteers in Mexico are highly educated professionals. Over 90% of Peace Corps Mexico’s Volunteers have a graduate degree, are evenly divided between men and women and the average age of our Volunteers is 45 years old. Many Volunteers are mid-way through a career or are retired professionals. On occasion we also receive Volunteers with a Master’s degree and are still within the first five years of their professoinal careers.
