Its emphasis is for students anticipating careers in the practice of art or design, or for students planning on graduate study in either of these fields. WHEN CAN I APPLY? Students enrolled at Michigan State University are eligible to apply for the Bachelor of Fine Arts in Studio Art review process if they (1) have completed or are currently enrolled in all of their distribution requirements and (2) are in their second semester or later at MSU or equivalent thereof, and have not yet earned their 30 credits in studio art. Students who have transferred to Michigan State University or who have completed over 30 credits in studio art should contact the Department of Art & Art History’s Academic Advisor, Cindy Walter, for more information on the appeal process.
