The Award of Excellence for Comptrollership in the Public Sector was created to honour innovative thinking. It also celebrates examples of exemplary delivery of comptrollership/financial management services that have enabled the government to enhance its financial management performance and strengthen its accountability framework. In its third year, the Award of Excellence for Comptrollership in the Public Sector includes two award categories: (1)Innovation , and (2) Financial Leadership (CFO). In addition, consideration forms may be submitted for a Lifetime Achievement Award recipient, which is awarded at the discretion of the selection committee.
