What is the average winter temperature in the Rockies?
Typical winter temperatures are usually 30º to 10º Fahrenheit (0C to -12 C), but in mid-winter they can drop as low as -10º below Fahrenheit (-23 C). These lower temperatures are what give us the super light dry Colorado powder. Our characteristic lower humidity and abundant sunshine makes the temperatures feel much warmer than they actually are.
