What is the average turn-around time for conducting background investigations?
It varies depending on the number, type, and location of the various investigative checks that are requested. Normally, Montana criminal checks are completed and returned within 1 to 2 business days. Some states take as much as three or four weeks to reply. Our internal policy is that we send out the checks the day we receive a case and that we supply our client with a report, the day we receive the reply from the state.
