What is the average speed on the German Autobahn?

0

There are some stretches where the average speed is 150 km/h (almost 100 mph), particularly Madgeburg to Berlin (Autobahn A2) where the road is nearly straight for the most part. However, most parts are curvy with lower speed limits of 120 km/h or even 100 km/h. I had a high-powered car and I got pretty used to driving over 200 km/h, and some people would pass me, and I would pass some people. I am sure I went faster than about 90% of the people. There are rich folks driving big BMW’s and Benzes, and they are the ones usually driving between 200 to 250 km/h. Since gas is about $1.50 a litre, not many Germans drive over 160 km/h constantly.
