What is the average salary of a dentist in the UK compared to the USA?
Hi! There is a HUGE difference. No comparison. Most dentists that are general make about 4-6 times what UK makes and specialists are even higher. ALSO our education costs us almost 200K US. and to set up a practice is about half that at least. So you can see why, there is a big difference. PLUS we do more and own our X-ray machines and do all aspects of dentistry without a referral or long time wait. Most patients are seen the same day with any problem. It is completely different. Patients can get top line care and payment plans to do more.
