What is the average salary for someone with an MBA postgraduate degree?
As always, it depends. For a couple reasons: 1) It depends on the school you go to and it’s reputation. Top school annual salary after an MBA is ~$100k. But you have to remember that most of these people have worked a few years, so they already had work experience to offer. Without work experience, you can count on earning less.Many people in business school don’t have managerial experience. Many worked in corporations and were individual contributors, yet are still better off because they had some work experience. 2) It depends on what you want to do afterward and what type of company you want to work for. Corporation vs. Start up vs. non-profit. General mgmt vs. Investment banking vs. Consulting. There’s a wide range of salaries.
