What is the average rate of hourly pay for a swimming pool life guard?
The wage varies from pool to pool I get paid £6.50 an hour but my cousin gets payed £7.25 an hour. It all depends on the pool you are at and what they have their, you also normal get free swims, use of the gym and any think else they have there. Also the more you do for the pool the more you well get, when I finish me teacher course I get paid £8 an hour when teaching. The duty manger or head lifeguard has a slightly higher pay as well something like £7.75 an hour I think. The maxim pay I have heard about at a pool is £12 an hour but that was because they did every think and the lowest was £5.75 just above minim wage. Ask your local pool about a job and bring up pay and see what you would get if you want to be sure.
