What is the average price of an easel and canvases?
Hanna, There really isn’t an average price on easels or canvasses. There are many different qualities and sizes of each. You can probably get an easel for as little as $40. I bought a table (because it sits on the table and is very small) for $7 about four years ago. Each easel will hold canvasses up to certain sizes. Once you know the range of sizes of canvasses you want to use, then decide which easel to use. The sturdier easels make work easier to do. The cheap, lighter weight easels often shake when you work, making your work harder. My favorite easel was about $120 plus shipping. Local art and craft stores won’t have the variety of supplies, but you can go look and see what they charge locally and how close to you they are. I like using the online art supply warehouses because of the broad selection and lower prices they have. I love looking through their web pages because I learn so much about various materials.
