From what I remember, I drive an 18-wheeler, eligibility for overtime is based on whether you drive intra-, or interstate. Interstate drivers, by regulation, don’t have to be paid overtime. However, the company you drive for can pay overtime if it chooses too. Also, if the vehicle is not registered as a commercial vehicle you can not be restricted from receiving overtime.
