Hello House 1: Utlity costs may vary depending upon the age of the Manalapan, NJ home. Newer homes often have more energy efficient appliances, thus your costs for a newer home utilities may be less than that of an older home. On average, based on my conversations with my clients who own homes in Manalapan that are 4600 sq ft or greater, one could expect to pay anywhere between $800 to $1600 p/month for utilities (depending upon what time of year it is). Also note, gas and electric companies in the central NJ offer “budget” plans for homeowners (regardless of income level). These budget plans allow homeowners to pay a regularly scheduled monthly amount (based on their average energy usage). This way one can anticipate for the most part what their monthly costs will be. As for water and sewer, certain parts (not all) of Manalapan offer well & septic, so that would be two less bills you’d have to pay. Please let me know if I can assist you personally with your real estate needs.
