Secondly, since when does interacting with the opposite sex qualify as “homoerotic” behavior? “Homo” means “same” and “erotic” refers to sexually arrousing behavior. Guys at a certain age are all about competition, especially when they have low self-esteem. They are looking to boost themselves up by picking on anyone who is different and who will respond in such a way as to make them feel better about themselves.
