• This is the most frequently asked question. The life of the paint is related with the quality and place of application but not with the specification of the fibercement sheet. When used the proper and quality paint average life shall be not less than 15 years. Another condition for long paint life is the back side’s of the sheets or sidings exposure to moisture. Care at most should be given to water insulation at the fibercement sheet applications. Primering the unpainted sides and edges with a suitable insulation solution shall contribute and probably solve the problem.
