What is the average level of intelligence of the worlds most intelligent people?
The Intelligence Quotient (I.Q.)is often used to compare and simply give some measure of intelligence. The “average” IQ is by definition 100, so if you score below that you are less clever than average, and above it means smarter than average. Anything above 140 is classed as genius (although I think this should be much higher). Top brains will have IQ’s in the high one hundreds and very rarely you may get someone with an IQ over 200. The ability to get the right answers for a high IQ does not mean any great thought powers- a good example is Einstein who had an estimated IQ of only 160 but was an incredible transcendental thinker. As for below average feeling inferior- that will depend on the individual.
