What is the average hourly work week for UCI residents?
• Our residency program complies with the ACGME guidelines for resident work hours. Our residents benefit from a resident-friendly work environment and call schedule. They have many months where they only take 4-5 in-house calls per month – work hours that fall well below the 80 hour work week. We insure that our residents schedules meet or exceed the standards set by the ACGME.
