The average course load of an undergraduate is 16 units per semester. An undergraduate is considered full-time if enrolled for 12 or more units and part-time if enrolled for fewer than 12 units. Tuition remains the same for 12 to 18 units, therefore students taking more than 18 units have to pay for the extra units.
