What is the average cost of Juvederm per unit?
A. Juvederm is sold by the syringe, not by the unit as Botox is sold. There are 2 types made by Allergan: Juvederm Ultra, and the slightly heavier Juvederm Ultra Plus. Typically one buys a syringe or two which are used on the same day, however some product can be refrigerated and saved for up to 6 months. Cost varies by geographic area as well as the experience and skill of your injectionist. Avoid low price offers, as this is not a “Costco” item. The range can be between $350 to $625 per syringe, and the results are immediate. It’s ok to shop price, but remember cheapest is often not best. Choose an experienced injectionist.
