What is the average age of the students?
The Explore Program at UBC accepts students who are at least 19-years old. Half of the students are between 19 and 21 with the next 35% between 22 and 25. Most activities are geared to these particular age groups (19 to 25). One third of the students are male. Older students are welcome and are generally more independent. Older (24+) female students share a “quiet” floor on the fourth floor but “quiet” is as relative as “age”. Students do not always act their age!
