WHAT IS THE AUTONOMIC NERVOUS SYSTEM (ANS)?

0

The Autonomic Nervous System (ANS) is the part of the Central Nervous System that is automatic. It regulates breathing, heart rate, digestion, immune function, sleep patterns, hormone regulation, blood pressure, blood sugar levels, tissue regeneration, and liver and kidney detoxification and more. Autonomic Nerves are connected to every cell in the body. The ANS is responsible for maintaining homeostasis (balance) despite the many external and internal stressors in our lives. Once the stressors to the ANS are cleared up, the self regulating mechanism of the body allows the person to return to a state of wellness. The electrocardiogram which measures the rate and rhythm of the heart, is actually measuring the portion of the ANS that controls the heart. COMMON ROOT CAUSES OF WELLNESS DISTURBANCES ‘Root cause’ simply means the reason why a person is having symptoms. These things can block the Autonomic Nervous System from functioning properly leading to unwanted symptoms. • Food Allergies
