What is the “automatic-expiration” requirements of authorizations?
Authorizations (Release of Information) can no longer be signed once for the life of the psychotherapy. Authorizations must automatically expire, and it must say so on the form. The actual number of days for auto-expiration is determined by your state. Notes 444 asks you to set your authorization field value in the Global Settings (or be conservative and use the 60-day default.) Fifty days later (or any date you set,) you will receive a timely reminder.
