What is The Aurora Project?
The Aurora Project is our outreach program to bring the Sprout learn-n-grow science program to children who do not typically have the opportunity of educational enrichment programs. Countless children are affected by poverty. These children, our children, experience such hardships. These bright, curious, amazing children deserve the opportunity to learn and to experience the joys of discovering the wonders and excitement of science. For 45 minutes each week a Sprout learn-n-grow volunteer brings a fun filled enrichment science program to children and families living in poverty. Through The Aurora Project children experience not only a state of the art science program but more importantly they learn about themselves. This is their time; their time to dream. Their time to step away from the difficulties and stresses no child should have to face.
