WHAT IS THE ASSET AND COMPASS TEST?
It is a placement inventory consisting of questions concerning: A Writing Skills section that covers correct usage of grammar and punctuation A Reading Skills section that covers reading comprehension A Numerical Skills section that covers basic mathematics using whole numbers, fractions, decimals, percentages, ratio and proportions For the ASSET test, Elementary Algebra may or may not be included and is determined by the program you are entering, however, Pre-Algebra and Elementary Algebra problems WILL BE included in the Math portion of the Compass Test. WHEN CAN I GET THE RESULTS? Your ASSET test results will be mailed to you within 10 days. Compass Test results are available immediately after testing is finished. This is not an acceptance letter.
