What is the asset acquisition and asset holding structure of ARC?
The SRFAESI Act, 2002 and the RBI guidelines provide for acquisition of financial assets by Asset Reconstruction Companies (ARCs) through Trusts set up exclusively for the purpose. Accordingly, ARC would acquire the financial assets and hold the same under the Trust. ARC would be the Trustee and the Managing Agent.
