What is the Ascent Supplier Rating that appears on the right hand side of the product specification page?
We don’t import product directly ourselves, but buy from local distributors. Some suppliers are better than others. To a certain extent the quality of the service we can provide you is dependent on the service we receive from our supplier. This affects such things as timely delivery in the first instance and support if there is a problem with the item later on. In order for you to make a better purchasing decision we have rated our suppliers in terms of the following: the general ease of dealing with the supplier, the reliability of the stock information and efficiency of delivery, and the degree of after-sales support should things go wrong. The rating is a percentage, with 100% (5 stars) being excellent in all areas.
