If an ABG was performed during the CPET, you can bill for an arterial puncture, 36600, or arterial line placement, 36620, as well as for the ABG, 82803, if the SaO2 is calculated, or 82805, if the SaO2 is measured directly. Pulse oximetry cannot be billed on the same day any other service is performed on the patient.
