What is the Armidale Community Foot Patrol?
Armidale Community Foot Patrol is a crime prevention service that is run by dedicated volunteers from the community. We provide safe and free transport home to the youth of Armidale between the hours of 8:30pm and 1:30am Friday nights as well as maintain a responsible adult presence on the streets. We hope, with increased community support, to expand this service to include Saturday nights. Who Can Participate in the Armidale Community Foot Patrol? All community members are encouraged to give one night a month to this valuable service. Applicants need to be over 18 yrs of age,and all volunteers undergo a prohibited persons check. A class 1-B license is desirable but not nessacary. Application forms may be found at Kamillaroi Legal Centre, Armidale Police Station and the PCYC Centre. A copy is also avaliable online to print.
