What is the Armed Forces Compensation Scheme?
The Armed Forces Compensation Scheme applies to people injured, disabled or killed while serving in the armed forces on or after 6 April 2005. The scheme has recently undergone a detailed review. Changes to the compensation, including for hearing loss, are likely in late 2010.
