What is the Areas of Inquiry requirement?
The curriculum is divided into three Areas of Inquiry: Human Thought and Expression; Social Relations, Institutions, and Agents; and Natural Sciences and Mathematics. A student will fulfill the Areas of Inquiry requirement by taking two courses from two different departments or programs in each area, totaling 6 courses. Please refer to the First-Year Registration booklet, and/or the University Catalogue for more information. Students have all eight semesters to complete this requirement.
