The pH should generally remain relatively stable for a long period of time. The pH is a measurement of “potential hydrogen” in the water. Water that is high in alkaline minerals and bicarbonates would measure high in pH. As this is a physical property, it remains fairly stable, and should only change slightly if stored properly.
