What is the approximate cost to re-tile and grout a bathroom?

Tile prices will range from under $1.00 sq. ft. up to over $200.00 sq. ft. with the average price to you for a porcelain tile around $5.00 sq. ft. You will also have trim tile involved, most likely surface bull nose. Those are priced individually. Labor depends on how much ripping and tearing there is to get the old material out, prep the area, install a concrete backer board, waterproof, install new tile, be it square, diagonal, broken joint, etc. The more intricate the installation, the more labor it is to install. Have someone come out (for free) and give you an estimate. Get at least three estimates and if someone is really low, DO NOT go with that guy…he’s cutting corners. You will get what you pay for. There’s no way anyone over the internet can give you even a ball park figure what tile labor will cost because each job is so different.
