What is the approval process for a rezoning?
All rezoning cases begin by going to the Planning Board. There will be a courtesy hearing on the matter, after which the Board may vote in favor of or against the proposal. If the Board desires, it also has the option of sending the case to a committee for further study. If a case goes to committee, it would then come back to the full Board as a motion from the committee.
