What is the approach to personalised learning, catch up for those that need it and extra support for gifted and talented?
The curriculum will be underpinned by the principle that each student should be allowed to seek the learning pathway that will enable him or her to learn and achieve in the best way. This will mean that those who require an enrichment programme in English or Mathematics will be able to do so, alongside students who want to take their GCSEs early. Those students who want to follow a course that combines the traditional academic route with a vocational route, will also be able to do so. Thus a student could consider a Diploma course in hairdressing alongside an A level course in French.
