What is the approach to cleanup of buildings?
The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has lead responsibility for issues related to environmental cleanup of hazardous materials and weapons of mass destruction with the assistance of 16 different federal agencies and departments including HHS/CDC working with the State and local agencies. The decision for a most efficient approach to cleanup will be defined based upon the sampling results, review of cleanup options, environmental media, etc. Does CDC cooperate with international health organizations like the World Health Organization (WHO) to help in other countries with anthrax cases?
