What is the Apprentice Museum Educator program?
The Apprenticeship in Museum Education (AME) program at the Rubin Museum of Art will provide essential hands-on skills to university students preparing for future careers in the arts, education, or global affairs in the low-stakes, place-based environment of a museum. The unique exhibitions at the Rubin Museum of Art provide opportunities for apprentices to learn and engage audiences through the interrelation of the art, geography, history, and culture of the Himalayas. Program participants will leave with a greater global understanding of the world and public interrelation skills that will prepare them for the future.
