What is the application process for getting my license?

Step 1: Take the required courses at Champions School of Real Estate. Step 2: Send in the Evaluation of Education document to TREC including copies of of your course certificates and if applicable, a copy of your college transcript. A check or money order for $20.00 is required. Step 3: Send in the Application for an Inactive License to TREC (or file online). A fee of $79.50 is required. You may send in your Sponsoring Broker Application at the same time or at a later date. Step 4: Take the Prep course at Champions School of Real Estate. Step 5: Receive your education approval and Candidate Information Brochure (CIB) from TREC allowing you to take the state exam. Step 6: Take the state exam at PSI Examination Services. Step 7: Once you have passed the state exam and sent your Sponsoring Broker Application to TREC, you license will be sent directly to your Sponsoring Broker.
